Belle Plaine has always been home. I graduated from BPHS in 1992. I attended Kirkwood Community College where I received an AAS Degree in 1994, Level I Generalist Paraeducator Certification in 2008, and Level II Paraeducator Certification, specializing in Disability Services in 2009.

I started at Belle Plaine Jr/Sr High on January 2024, and very much enjoy my time in the Learning Center.

My husband Jim, a 1993 graduate from BPHS, and I live on a farm east of Belle Plaine, where we raised our two daughters, Tori (BPHS Class of 2020) and Macy (BPHS Class of 2022) in addition to Show Lambs, chickens and kitties.

I enjoy spending my free time with our two Blue Heelers, Becks and Koe and our two grandpuppies, Bruno and Blair.
