Email: abrecht@belle-plaine.k12.ia.us Bio: I am a native of Belle Plaine, Iowa, graduating for BPHS in 1992. I attended the University of Northern Iowa to study Elementary Education with a minor in Science. I graduated in 1996 and began my teaching career at St. John's Lutheran School of Victor, where I taught a 4-8 combined room. In 1998 I began my career at Belle Plaine teaching in the K-12 Talented and Gifted Program. In 2000 I stepped into the role of substitute teacher while my children where at home. I returned to teach 3rd grade for 13 years and in 2022 switched to 1st Grade. I enjoy spending time with my family, going for walks, supporting my children in their endeavors, and advocating for the FFA at the local and state level, serving in various leadership positions. |
