I went to Central to get my BA degree, worked for a designer in Chicago ( Alice Padrul - check it out!), then became a fabric store manager, moving to South Bend IN, then Waterloo IA, Atlanta GA, Akron OH, Nashville TN, back to Akron and finally back to Belle Plaine, where I got my teaching certification through ISU. I started at BPHS in 2002 and have been here ever since. My side gig is making wedding gowns & bridesmaid dresses, as well as altering them. I have a son in Chicago and a daughter and son-in-law in Fort Collins, CO. And a Cocker Spaniel named Ruby. If you've been to my house, you know she's the softest dog ever! |
