Welcome back to Belle Plaine, the founding father of Knights of Arcadia and our new Band/Choir teacher, Justin VonAhsen. What brought him on to wanting to be a teacher was his in 8th grade where his band and choir directors inspired him to help and make good music with students. He grew up in town all his school life and. He has 2, kids Miles at age 6 and Penny at age 3 with his mother still living in town. The reason why he wanted to come back to Belle Plaine is that he really wanted to come back to his hometown.
When he was in high school he participated in Choir, Band, Musical, Fall play, Wrestling, Cross Country and started up Knights of Arcadia when he was in high school with a friend to prevent kids from doing bad things on the weekends. He has started teaching for the past 9 years where he started at Southwest Valley for 4 years, after that he went to Oskaloosa for 4 years, and now Belle Plaine with this being his 1st year. His favorite teams are the Chicago Cubs and Stealers with his hobbies being fishing, reading, barbecuing and hiking. His goals this year would be to get a strong relationship with his students that he teaches and does not teach and make good music with the band and choir kids this school year.
