Launch the media gallery 1 playerPlease help us welcome another recent teaching addition into our school named Lewis Ginder. Lewis Ginder is from Lehighton Pennsylvania. He went to the High School in Lehighton, then went to IUP and ESU during his college years. Lewis was first a computer programmer but went back to school for science and decided to become a teacher.
He was brought to Belle Plaine last year because of his grandchildren that live in the area. Lewis was an only child, his dad was a coach and his mom was a housewife. They both ran a camp during the summer and are very environmental. He enjoys watching triathlons and some of his hobbies are biking, running, and swimming. Out of his 65 years of age he has been teaching for 25 of them. He has taught a special ed class, and teaches chemistry, physical science, and physics. Lewis currently lives in Cedar Rapids, and his goal of the year are to get all of his classes in check.
