Belle Plaine with a victory to make them 5-1 on the season with a close win over Ogden. The Plainsmen Traveled to Ogden Iowa October 1, 2021 and played the Bulldogs in their sixth week match-up with a final score of 14-16. The Plainsmen defense had a good game. The defense only allowed 14 yards of rushing. The Bulldogs tried to run the ball 16 times only on average .9 yards per carry this game.
The Plainsmen’s defense finished with a total of 20 tackles, 2 sacks, and 5.5 tackles for loss. Chase Wickwire finished the game leading the Plainsmen in tackles with 6. The Plainsmen’s defense also clinched the game on Ogden's last drive. Senior Ean Allie intercepted the ball taking away the bulldogs last drive. The Plainsman had a good offensive game too. Connor Timm, Jermey Reineke, Ty Alcott, Brooks DeMeulenaere, and Ben DeMeulenaere all contributed to the Plainsmen 256 rushing yards in the game.
